Roaming Ruff Cuts’ Customer Agreement and Liability Policies

Customer releases Roaming Ruff Cuts, LLC from any and all liabilities, financial, and otherwise, for injuries to Customer, Customer’s pet, or any other property of Customer, which arise in any way from services and/or products provided by or as a consequence of Customer’s association with Roaming Ruff Cuts including, but not limited to, veterinarian bills.

Customer assumes all liabilities, financial and otherwise, for the behavior and health of their pet. In consideration of the services rendered by Roaming Ruff Cuts’ Customer waives any and all claims, actions, or demands of any nature, foreseen or unforeseen, against Roaming Ruff Cuts relating to the care, control, health, and/or safety of Customer’s pet arising during services performed by Roaming Ruff Cuts.

In Layman’s Terms

I do here by entrust my pet(s) to Roaming Ruff Cuts for the purpose of grooming my pet(s). I am aware that all due care will be taken with my pet(s) for the safety of pet and groomer. I am aware that neglect of my pet’s coat can be a cause for problems after grooming such as clipper/brush irritation. If my pet is wiggly or doesn’t remain still during the grooming procedure accidents can happen such as nicks from clippers or scissors.

Matted Coat:

All attempts will be made to salvage a matted coat; however I will allow Roaming Ruff Cuts to make the final decision to cut down the coat if dematting can not be tolerated by my pet. If I do not want the coat cut down, I will assume responsibility to demat my pet’s coat and Roaming Ruff Cuts will return at a later date to groom my pet.

Refusing Service:

Customer understands that Roaming Ruff Cuts has the right to refuse service to Customer’s pet at any time for any reason. Customer understands that if their pet has a history of or repeatedly demonstrates aggression or biting of humans or animals, Roaming Ruff Cuts reserves the right to refuse service. Customer also understands that all bites will be reported to the local authorities as required by law.

Legal Owner:

Customer must be the legal owner of the pet. The pet must not have been exposed to distemper, rabies, or parvovirus within the past thirty (30) days and has been inoculated as indicated by records presented.

Pictures:

I understand that Roaming Ruff Cuts may take pictures of my pet, before and after grooming, for their website, advertising and education.

Flea/Tick Policy:

Fleas and tick will NOT be tolerated. Owners are responsible for keeping the pet flea & tick free. If I find mass fleas or ticks, there is a $75 cleaning fee to de-bug the Roaming Ruff Cuts Mobile van before I can go to the next house! This fee is in addition to the grooming fee.

Cancellation:

In the event I need to CANCEL my appointment: I understand that I must notify Roaming Ruff Cuts at least 24 hours prior to my scheduled appointment. Leaving a voicemail, text message at 716-912-6478 or an email at rrcuts@gmail.com are all acceptable options.

Home and Property Damage:

Roaming Ruff Cuts will not be held responsible for damages to my yard, home or property while on the service call for grooming my pet(s). As the owner or caregiver, I authorize Roaming Ruff Cuts to perform scheduled grooming appointments while I am away from home or property. In the case where a key is left or given for my home, Roaming Ruff Cuts will not be held responsible for any damages or theft to my property. I will sign an invoice/work order each time my pet is groomed as requested, and I will leave a note with my authorization [signature] for grooming should I not be home.
